There were only a couple of hundred, at most, of us in the south bank. We owned it, and they knew it.

Agreed, went absolutely nuts in a very quiet pub in Exeter, much to the amusement of the few that were there.

Early kick off if I recall and we were struggling at the time.

Re: Which West Ham Goal Have You Celebrated The Most?
A few spring to mind...one has been mentioned - Bish at Brum in 93, but i'll add these;

Frankie Mac's equaliser at The Den with 15 mins to go. 6000 or so in the away going mental.

Cottee's goal v QPR away in the cup in 88

And a winning goal being Georgie Parris' last minute 25 yarder against the might of Watford in 87

Re: Which West Ham Goal Have You Celebrated The Most?
David Cross's Fourth of his Four verses Spurs (4-0 at the Lane) at the Lane back in the day. If you ever get to see it on the net, clock the very, very empty home areas and the huge group of West Ham on the Shelf and on the terrace area in front.

Cottee's goal at the Bridge after Chicken George sprinted ( yes sprinted ) almost the length of the pitch to set him up in the 4-0 in 1985.

Leroy Roseniors headed winner against Arsenal in the FA cup replay at Highbury in front of a packed Clock End of West Ham fans Seemed to happen in slow motion and 14,000 of us seemed to such the ball over the line ....... They won the league that year and we were relegated so it was a highlight of a poor season for us.

Re: Which West Ham Goal Have You Celebrated The Most?
Martin Allen's winner v Wimbledon in the league cup comes close

but for me Bobby Zamora to put us 3-2 up v Spuds. Had 3 hours aggressively drinking Harveys in the market porter pregame. was fairly hammered. the euphoria of Tevez's opener had died - they'd clawed it back to 2-2.

Then Bobby lands the best header in his time with us..

Boy was that a crash 10 minutes later.....................
